The Hope Center Media Enrichment Program

Creativity with Purpose. Opportunity through Education.

The Hope Center Media Enrichment Program is a developing community education initiative of The Hope of Glory Church, Incorporated, in partnership with The Hemet Beat LLC.

Through personal instruction in music, media, and technology, we seek to help participants discover their abilities, express their ideas, and develop practical skills in a supportive learning environment.

Our Mission

To provide accessible, hands-on media education that helps individuals find their voice, build confidence, and turn creative ideas into meaningful projects.

Our Vision

A community where people of different abilities and backgrounds have opportunities to learn, create, and contribute—and where creative potential becomes practical opportunity.

Our Areas of Focus

  • Media & Technology Education: Audio and video production, podcasting, digital storytelling, graphic design, and responsible use of AI tools.
  • Music & Creative Arts: Songwriting, recording, performance, and original creative expression.
  • Community Wellness & Workforce Development: Communication, teamwork, confidence, portfolio development, and career exploration.

Who We Hope to Serve

  • Individuals facing mental-health or disability-related barriers, including people in recovery.
  • Underserved youth and young adults.
  • Adults seeking digital literacy and practical workforce skills.

Our intended service area includes Hemet, San Jacinto, and surrounding Riverside County communities.

Starting Small and Growing with Purpose

Our proposed first-year pilot will serve six participants, allowing approximately two months of personal guidance for each person to develop one principal creative project.

Pastor Dr. Linda J. Parker will provide organizational leadership and mentoring. Joseph Mekael Page, CEO of The Hemet Beat LLC, will lead media instruction and production.

The program is currently in development, with launch dependent on funding and final arrangements. It provides education and enrichment rather than clinical mental-health treatment.
