“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.”
Today’s teaching reminds us that God has given every believer a measure of faith, but that faith must be carried with humility. We should not walk in pride, arrogance, or self-importance. We should think soberly, live wisely, and remember that every gift, calling, and opportunity comes by the grace of God.
Humility does not mean thinking less of yourself. It means seeing yourself the way God sees you: valuable, gifted, accountable, and dependent on Him.
Lord, help us walk humbly, think soberly, and use the faith You have given us to build others up and glorify Your name.
